How can I enlarge a stock photo downloaded from a royalty free website and keep the image clear and sharp? When I try to "resize" it in Paint, it comes out rather blurry.

I'm sure there is a simple procedure but I can't seem to discover it. I hope it's not old age!

You cant enlarge an image any larger than its original size, look at the properties of the image and thats the largest it will go without pixelating (getting blurry)....

I use photoshop and make new file with a bigger paper size (to print) dimension as possible as it allows and put the DPI in the smallest number... say 72 DPI. Then I drag the picture file into it and will get it bigger, clear and crisp.
