GOT IT, c3c3c3, no wait, it's F5F5F5 - Hex for background color for WF posts

I am going to insert some graphics into a WSO and I need to have the hex code for the background color for posts.

I don't know how to find it without just guessing at something close.

Any help? Thanks in advance.

I had F5F5F5 then i grabbed a chunk and put it into Paint and it told me C3C3C3 so I went with that. Did paint lie to me?

  I think so, because c3c3c3 is actually a very light to medium grey color.......while f5f5f5 is the perfect match......
  
  I have posted a few things with graphics and had to match the background so I have used f5f5f5 several times and it is dead on the money......

That's cool. Thanks a lot for the correction. As evidenced by my post above where I said I was using paint, graphics are not my thing. I am a copywriter, but when I do a WSO I will be using some hand-writing graphics and I want them to match.

Kevin,

There is a FREE 11kp software available that anyone that does there own graphics will find invaluable when looking for the proper html, hex, rgb, cmyk, or hsv for any color. You just open it up, place your mouse pointer over the color and all the info you need is right there on your desktop.

I've been using it for a couple of years. The color codes have always been perfect when transferred to Photoshop, Gimp, or when used as a HTML color with HTML or CSS.

Anyway, the program is called pixie. It is available from Nattyware at the link below.
