Tutorial: How to keep your email running if your website goes down

Hey folks,

I just wanted to share this tutorial I wrote a couple weeks ago. It's about avoiding an "all your eggs in one basket" situation with your website and email. With your current set-up (most likely) if your website fails, so does your email (running through that domain)... leaving you completely offline.

I've written out an in-depth step-by-step tutorial to go about setting up your website and email using third-party services (free!) so there is no single point of failure. If your website goes offline, your email still works.

It will take about an hour of your time to go through the whole process but it's worth it. (I did it myself a few months ago for my sites) Some of the extra benefits...

- Site loads faster
- You get to use the best webmail interface in existance (in my opinion)
- Less strain on your web server

The only reason I'm selling this so hard is because most people will take one look at the tutorial and not follow through. I want to convince you that it's totally worth the time (about one hour) to do this stuff.

If you have any questions or comments, you can follow-up on the tutorial page, or right here in this thread. I'm happy to help where I can.
