Hi All, I need to place some information on a webpage and don't have too much space to play around with. I decided to split the information into slides. Each slide will consist of an image and some text. Two options I have at the moment to display this information are: 1) Same approach used in Promote Products - ClickBank (ie. 5 slides with arrows to move back and forth). 2) Using this free Carousel tool from flshow: flShow — Free Flash Slideshows I like option 1 better because it would be easier for my end-users to operate. I have no problem programming that using JavaScript but I really like how they transition between the slides was done. That's Flash, right? Does anyone know of a free tool that would produce something like that or something similar (or better...)? Thanks in advance. |

I also think slideshows are a great way to present certain types of content. The Clickbank one is simply a "Jquery" slideshow. These are pretty easy to work with. You can download a great free one called EasySlider here: Easy Slider 1.7 - Numeric Navigation jQuery Slider | Css Globe Scroll down the page a little till you find the links to their demos. There's another version called Cu3er: CU3ER – flash 3D image slider! This is also totally free. I love the transitions that cu3er offers but the type of content you can work with is a bit limited. With EasySlider you can put in just about anything. |
