I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this thread. Sorry if it isn't.

I'm trying to add a free classified ads plug in to my wordpress. I have found a few plug ins that have what i want but im not sure how to use them after i install them. i activate them but thats as far as i get.

If anyone can help that would be great thanks!

What classified plugins have you found for wordpress?

I've come across a few classified THEMES that would be installed like any other theme would, but have yet to see any plugins you could use with an existing theme.

Hey sorry for not replying i have been soo busy trying to figure out Wordpress then i switched to dolphin.

Um i actually lost the link to the classified plug in but im going to look for it on my pc i downloaded it.

This is what i tried to use guys, AWPCP|Another Wordpress Classifieds Plugin although im not sure how to get it to work but im so new to all this "plugin" "module" stuff im lost. haha

What a great plugin.

I've just loaded it up on one of my sites and it was working in under 5 minutes.

And it's on the wordpress.org system as well so install via the admin interface is easy.

So have you installed this and don't know to configure it.?

Or have you not installed it yet?

Ok, you just activate the plugin,

Then go to classifieds in the menus on the left and edit the settings.

Save them.

Once you do that, it will setup a page on your wordpress with all the needed sub pages to run the classified system.

The page will be called whatever you put in the settings.

You can of course change all the settings as needed, it's very flexible.

Go to your website and in the pages area of your website it will have a link to the classified system.

If you don't have pages listed then add it in with a widget from the themes menu.
