Hi, I just installed the easy wordpress sales page theme on my wordpress blog. It looks awesome and I wish to stick with it. I just wish to know how to add an opt-in on a wordpress sales page especially when the theme I've installed isn't widget reader / widget aware. It means that there is no way a widget can be installed unless the theme is made to be widget ready. All I wish to do is add the opt-in box in the page to convert the sales page into a squeeze page. Any ideas or clues? Any suggestions? Anyone is a wordpress expert here? I am looking for a solution. Can anyone help? Here's the site: Get Frank Kern's Mass Control Stuff - Four Day Cash Machine & Good Karma List Machine FREE I hope I am allowed to post the link above as I need someone to help me IMMEDIATELY. I just downloaded the theme from a WSO on the warrior forum. I want it to be a squeeze page but the theme isn't widget aware. Please HELP. I need HELP from you guys immediately. Not sure if this is the right forum to post the query. Can anyone please HELP? PLEASSSEEEE |

Hi, Not exactly sure how that theme works but in Wordpress admin go to appearance > themes > editor and look for sidebar.php. You should be able to enter your code directly in this page and it will appear on site. And I know you said you want to stick with this template but there are some good squeeze page type templates that loook good with opt-in sections built in. Here's one - Purchase Premium Landing Page Theme Cheers Max |

Hi there, You could add your optin form code to a separate page (or on an existing page) by pasting the code directly into the HTML view. Before doing that, though, you should install the Raw-HTML plugin so you can get around the WordPress HTML filters and have control over the HTML on your site. Here's a description and review of that plugin: http://www.wealthydragon.com/blog/20...ordpress-html/ Cheers, Martin. |

Martin, I really can't thank you enough. REALLY Can't. This is why I LOVE THE WARRIOR FORUM. I haven't implemented what you said Martin as yet but am definitely hopeful of getting it resolved with your help. The problem with my theme is that it does not have a sidebar.php file neither do I want a sidebar. It's a squeeze page that I want within the page at the bottom asking people for their name and email address. I got very less time as the offer may get off the market anytime so I gotta hurry up. I just want to know how to insert the opt-in code in my home page. Any clues? | |

You could access the HTML and add the opt-in code. In WORDPRESS (WP), when you're in your post, look to the top right of the box in which you write your content. Do you see the tab that says VISUAL? Right next it, you'll see the tab HTML. If you have the insert code from aweber or other capture, you can put it at the bottom. Hope that helps |

Hi there, "...I just want to know how to insert the opt-in code in my home page. Any clues?..." As Dialady has said, go to your Page>Edit screen and click the HTML view tab. Paste your Optin form code where you need it, but install the Raw-HTML plugin first because othrewise you won't have full control over the formatting. Be sure to read the instructions on how to use Raw-HTML, because once you use it on a page you need to always view that page with the HTML view. If you look at it with the Visual view the WordPress HTML filters leap into action and destroy all your formatting! Cheers, Martin. |

I got an opt-in box for the first time on a wordpress platform. My blog loads slowly. It's taking time. Any clues Martin? I got a wordpress super cache plugin installed as well. Can you help me load it quickly? |

Your Twitter plugin is slowing down your site load times. As I write, I'm watching your site which has loaded as far as the header and it's now stuck waiting for www.retweet.com. You may want to try the Tweetmeme plugin for Twitter updates - I've found it to be more reliable. Cheers, Martin. |

Ronak, hi, Your site is still getting stuck waiting for www.retweet.com. Try disabling that plugin and then seeing if your site loads more quickly. If it does replace it with Tweetmeme. Cheers, Martin. |

Also, just had a quick look at your source code - you should move the Google Analytics script to the footer. GA is often slow to respond but if it's in your footer your content will be displaid to your viewers more quickly because it won't have to wait for GA to load. Cheers, Martin. |

I like Maxblogpress optin form adder. it gives you a lot of options to include the opt in form in the sidebar and even in the post. Works with most popular autoresponder systems. Hope this helps. |
