Default how do create border fading/shading effect for my website

Exactly as the title suggests really, I'm keen to learn how to get a shaded, faded, or shadow border effect for my website. An example of what I'd like is Steven's here

Interview with Steven Resell

... please can anyone advise me - or point me to a YouTube (for example) URL that would show me how.

FYI, I'm not too bad with the basics of Photoshop CS3 editor.

(I will PM Steven too actually, but thanks in advance for your help)

You have to design a page like this on Photoshop then with the help of CSS you can make a webpage like this.

If you want i can design and code a exact looking webpage for you.

Kindly let me know how much is your budget for this project?

Thanks & Regards,
Rautella

If you just right click on the borders you will be able to view the background images. That gives you the basic start. The rest is html and css and the source code will give you that.

There are 10 types of people, those that understand binary and those that don't.

This might be of some help to you:

A List Apart: Articles: CSS Drop Shadows

It shows drop shadows, but with the right image and a little tweaking of the CSS, you can get the same effect as on the webpage.
