Need Help With My Website Design

Hello,
I am the owner of an incentive freebie website. I have a very simple layout, but I hate it. I want to have a more professional design, but I am having trouble thinking of some ideas.

    Hi

    The background is way overpowering, reduce the opacity of the background or change to a sublte colour

    As far as layout goes, there is not a lot on there so not a lot of changes can be done with the layout apart from changing button shapes/pictures etc

    If you are using a template then try looking for different templates

      I guess I am not really familiar with the rewards system that you are promoting, but the green is over kill. I think a cleaner or softer look is more appealing now days. Take a look at templatemonster for some inspiration.

      Personally, the stationary background makes my dizzy, but that's just me.

    Thank you for your input. But, I want to completely get rid of that background and make the layout custom. But, before I can get a custom layout, I need some ideas on what my new professional design should look like?

      easiest way to get an idea is to take a lok at your competition & see what you like & what you don't like & maybe combine different aspects of those that you like

    Thank you sainteve, I did look at my competition and got some ideas on what I want in the layout. But I still do not know what kind of theme I should go with that is original?
