Want to do a re-build any tips ????

Hi All,

I am looking to do a re-design on my site that is one year old and has had some success. Can some Warriors have a quick look and give me some feedback on likes and dislikes about the design. Some opinions would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi Peter,

    The site looks great. I would suggest having some interactive modules implemented. Like Offering a login for a free report so that you are building a list and then starting building a relationship with the list. Maybe add a cool video to keep the interest of the visitor and lastly if your site is on a wordpress platform you can add new content daily which is a great way to get the site index by the popular search engines.

    A static site (a site with the same contene day in day out) is almost useless.

    I outsourced to a service the not only syndicated my site to social media sites but also rebuilt my site using wordpress platform added a simple video that relates to my niche and gave my business a huge advantage.

    Again your site looks great just a few tweaks will make it even better.

      Hi Peter

      Site looks good.

      My 2 cents worth is to me it seems a busy on home page.

      I see it is a normal html site, and not wordpress, which I now love to use.

      I would add some links where people can add a link to your site on their facebook or twitter. This can help greatly in getting your site out there.

      Just a little thing, make a favicon icon so the generic white folder does not appear in tab. Helps when people bookmark your site.

        The site is lacking in on-page SEO.
        There's no meta description tag. No H1, H2 tags with keyword phrase.

        I suggest finding an SEO checklist and going over the site to make sure it's totally SEO ready.

          Thanks for the replies. Yes the site does need some work with seo and also some work with getting it out there on the web. I am on the far north coast of NSW. Keep the feedback coming. Any opinions on the rollover buttoms for navigation. Should I keep them or get rid of them.
          I think I will be looking at outsourcing some work on a few sites of mine as I launch back into my web business. Offline activities have limited my time over the last 12 months but the plan is to get back into it again.

    Top header
    Release Graphics on the right

    Dislikes:

    - Nav buttons on the left, I would put them at the top under the header, better for SEO and ease of use.

    - Your tag line under the header is hard to read. It doesn't grab attention at all.

      Thanks for that. I agree about the nav bars. That was plan number 1 to get rid of the rollovers and move them to the top.
