What Wordpress Plugin or Script for Digital Downloads?

First post on the forum as i need some help and was told this is THE place to come to...

I want to share/sell downloadable ebooks etc through my wordpress blog...

Can anyone point me in the direction of a good script or plugin that will do the job with ease?

    If search were working right now you'd find a load of posts on this particular subject... but as it isn't you can take a look at these -

    E-Junkie - Popular paypal button/linked to secure download.

    E-Shop - Wordpress plugin- free - paypal based. Simple to set up.

    Yak - same as E-shop

    Plimus.com - I use this one - you have to create a secure buy-now page that imitates your wordpress site but once set up you can take any payment method.

    http://www.instinct.co.nz/e-commerce/ - Advanced shopping cart plugin for Wordpress - works with Paypal and numerous other payment gateways. Can be tricky to set up for the beginner.

    DLGuard - I've never used this one but I know its quite popular.

    You could also consider using a membership script to only allow access to a downloads page after someone joins. There are a few free ones of these but they may be more complicated to set up.

    If you are a total beginner I would say your easiest option is E-Junkie but also take a look at the 2 WP plugins.
