Hi,
Yes I'm a noob, lol. I have basic HTML and CSS skills. I have Dreamweaver, Double CAD XT, and PDF writer. How can I use the skills and progames to make money online? Or what other programs do I need? And what els do I need to learn?

Thanks,

You can create 100 landing page templates and sell them for a couple of $$$.

    Or how about this:

    1. Create 100 landing page templates
    2. Set up your own website
    3. Offer 15 of the landing page templates as a "free download" to anyone who signs up for your newsletter
    4. Promote your full package of 100 landing page templates to the people who signed up
    5. Sell that full package of templates to your newly found customers
    6. On your website, offer a service to create custom made landing pages
    7. Once you've made your first million dollars, offer free coaching to newbies
    8. When you have successfully coached 100 people, launch your own "How To Seduce People Into Joining Your Loyal Army Of Clients and Get Truckloads of Instant Cash Overnight" and go for a nationwide seminar tour. Remember to charge $5000 per ticket.

    Did I forget anything?

PS. From time to time, I coach newbies.

While you can create sites with basic html/css skills, it's important to start with this - what do you want to market/sell? How do you want to make $?

      - Create your own product
      - Affiliate marketing
      - Adsense
      - Membership site
      - etc

Based on that decision, you may decide to use a Wordpress blog and templates. Same with Adsense, you could create a site or use a template.

The site itself won't sell anything, you've got to put in the time, learning how to sell, then go from there.

Spend time on this forum learning the ropes, then give it a shot.

I'd recommend to master your HTML and CSS skills. Maybe get some training in:

    DreamWeaver CS4 Essentials
    Web Accessibility Principles
    Web Site Planning and Wireframing

Set good foundations on for your craft. SEO would also be funky as an add on to your skills. then do some keyword research on high traffic phrases and build your blog around such keywords.

Include a section on on "How to create" - websites from scratch, squeeze pages, create wordpress templates, etc... Anything that you are passionate about that relates to your craft.

Your blog would feature How-Tos and your personal nuggets of wisdom. I'd also put a squeeze page to capture leads and offer real advice for seeking individuals.

Use a 4:1 or 3:1 ratio in your email sequence which means 4 good no pitch advise/email and then a letter for an affiliate product or your own. 3:1 ratio is from the same principle.

If you want a quick buck within the next 60 days (realistically) while getting paid to practice your web development craft - approach any warrior in the forum that you discern to be needing a website and offer your service for free in exchange for a future testimonial. Build up a folio of 5 to 10 happy warrior and then go for a Warrior Special Offer and start charging for your services. You may want to learn from Copy Writing techniques for that (Hypnotic CopyWriting is a good source)

Don't think about making money in the first few strides of your business. Be realistic and build on what you are passionate about... No it's not money as it is just a measure of your success in the business that you love.

I say focus on your passion because if all else fails, passion will always bring you back to why you are doing what you're doing.

    Chow!
