HTML Help please!

WEB DESIGN

Putting a html widget, the text had align="absmiddle" I have tried 2 ways to get to center it - align="abscenter" and then just align="center" and it's not changing. Please help me get my widget to center.

Try using CSS instead style="text-align: center;"

If your widget is a block div with non-100% width, you can set it's left and right margin to auto and it will be centered.

style="margin: auto;"

  Hi darthdeus, that isn't working either. I resolved to move the widget to a new position where it looks centered. crazy none of these will work. Thanks

  yeah I tried that also but for some dumb reason it does not move. That's why I moved the widget altogether.

  Just a question for me to clarify your issue:
  
  Is the text inside a <p> or <span> tag?
  If so, try changing the surrounding tag for the text to a <div> tag and set a fixed width and alignment for the <div> - i.e. - "width: 400px; text-align:center;"
