Latest in CSS

Hi,
I want to know what are the latest development in CSS web design. Can anyone focus on it

They are working on improvements to CSS 3.0, which includes opacity for images, one div specifying multiple columns on a page, and multiple backgrounds for different elements.

However, and it's a HUGE however, I know of several people who still use IE 6.0. IE 6 and CSS3 just don't mix.
