Mmmkk so i probably did a really stupid thing.

I went to settings in wordpress and changed the Wordpress url (in the settings tab (general settings) from the original site (http://mysite.com) and added an extension at the end /somethingsomething

Anyways... now i can't log into wordpress and gives me an internal server error when trying to go to http://mysite.com/wp-admin (also tried wordpress.com login and didn't work.. am i doing something wrong? Did i miss something?

How can i revert it all? :/

Thanks guys

    Has this issue been fixed?
If not, contact me through my site. I'll need to preview your blog first, though.

If you didn't install your WP at /somethingsomething, you shouldn't have changed that setting.

You will need to go into your MySql database (using phpmyadmin) and change that setting back to normal, without the /somethingsomething.

If you're comfortable with that you could go into the database to revert the change.

It is easy if you have phpMyAdmin

Hi . had the same problem, in settings i changed the wordpress url in the general settings tab from /mydomain.com/reviews. this is my blog for this domain name, changed to mydomaing.com them i got the error .however internal server error and the 500 error in this case are easy to fix. all you have to do is go to you cpanel them clickphpMyAdmin ONCE you there. click the db you use for that-one blog them one more time click wp-options below you db name , you be able to see the options to the right once there find option_name where it says SITEURL click edit change the url to what it was before the error. that's it click Go and you done
it did work for me and could work for you too without spending any money. let us know if this is the help you were looking for?
