Managing Links in Wordpress - Should I Use a Directory?

I'm hoping an experienced Wordpress user can help me out with suggestions.

I have a niche site where I maintain what has become a long list of resource links. I am in the process of switching the site to Wordpress, and one of the things I would very much like is a way to both better organize and manage those links.

I have installed the Blogroll Links plugin:
Social Graphs API: WordPress Plugin: Blogroll Links | Web Site of Rajiv Pant

It's easy to use, but I'm wondering if there is something better.

And since my list of links is getting long, would I be better off installing a non-Wordpress directory script?

Thanks for the suggestion. I installed it and am playing with it now.

I'm a bit concerned by the URL addition form. I like the idea of allowing people to submit URLs, but the directory is only meant to include sites in my particular niche, so I don't want submissions to be automatically added. That seems like it would be a spammer magnet.
