    Hi YoYo,

More than once I have run into the situation in which the links I made while using Dreamweaver are links to the folders on my hard drive, and when I upload the files and folders to a website, the pages with the links in them are still looking for my hard drive.

I just went back into Dreamweaver and entered the links the in way a page on the internet would see them.

So on my hard drive the link might be looking for /images/doorway.jpeg which is really C:/sitefolder/sitefile/images/doorway.jpeg, but online the link (in the webpage) needs to be directed towards http://mysite.com/images/doorway.jpeg. This could happen with any folder.

Hope this helps. Maybe others here will have a different suggestion.

    :-Don

the images are working fine, even thought i had linked them to a folder in my computer. its the menu which is only showing the links but in dreamweaver they are tabs which i made using sprymenubar, dreamweaver made some files in my directory for the spry elements.

also under that is a blank space but a slide show is suppose to be there which i made with dreamweavers image viewer. it gave me a swf file.

i put all the files in my ftp but these are not appearing. the slide show place is blank and the tabs are just showing as text links.

yoyo - there are so many issues in this scenario that could be the problem...

either share the URL so someone can help or pay someone to help you and keep your site a secret.

If this web site stuff were easy, anyone could do it (and make money - reducing the amount left for the rest of us)... thankfully, it's not easy

ok here is the url, -- as you can see the menu bar is completly messed up and is just showing the links which should be tabs as made in dreamweavers sprymenubar, also that big white space under the menubar is suppose to be a slideshow made by image viewer in dreamweaver.

are are some screen shots of my files in ftp.

here you can see a few files i have put in /public_html/ firstly the css code for removing underlines in hyperlinks, which is only working on the index page and not the rest.
below that is the slide show file created by dreamweaver which i have put in /public_html/ which is not showing up on my main page.
and under that are some more files created by dreamweaver for my menu tabs.
      ------------

here in /public_html/ you can see the folders spryassets and scripts which were created by dreamweaver for my menubar and i have put them in here.
      --------------

here is a look at the scripts folder created by dreamweaver, here are two files
      ------------

and here is a closer look at the spryassets folder created by dreamweaver for my menubar

slide_show is the name of the swf file, not sure about those codes youve made red as they were automaticly generated by dreamweaver,

image viewer is the name of the slide show programe which is built into dreamweaver.
