Dreamweaver CS4 Disabled HTML Styles?

Is it possible to do HTML style attributes in Dreamweaver CS4?

I noticed they removed the colour boxes and some of the options. I can only see how to add colours and stuff by CSS classes.

Problem is I use some content management systems where I don't have access to the CSS pages and I define the styles in the tags using HTML.

It's annoying I cant figure out how to do it like in CS4.

Can anyone help?

just select in the CSS class drop down box (where you see that they ask you about choosing a style class bla bla...) " <New Inline Style> " and just select your desired properties

have you selected the text that you were going to apply the inline styling to it?

I was trying to set background color of table. No big deal, I can do it by hand, it's just odd I can't see how to do it with wysiwyg.

Selecting the table doesnt give me that option.

In CS3 you could choose whether dreamweaver inserted a style or html formatting in preferences. But in CS4 either some design options have been removed or put somewhere i cant find.

I guess I should go pick up the CS4 bible and have a read. Last bit of training I did was for Dreamweaver MX.

Problem is that I am designing little snippets to be inserted into a CMS, so I can't create CSS rules unfortunately, need to do everying with style="" attribute or by old html styles.

I don't have CS4 but in my version I don't have the option either.

I just go into the div (or span or paragraph or whatever) tag in the code view and type style=" - at that point, it will start offering me auto-complete possibilities.

typing style="background-color: will usually bring up the color box, likewise color: for text.

Dreamweaver, IMO, is a MAJOR pain for inline css.

Yeah, thats what I am doing. In CS3 I could edit options to either do CSS formatting or HTML formatting. So annoying they removed it!
