Would appreciate a quick check of my site...

For the first time I've applied em font sizes to my site design. My visitors tend to be an older age group and I want them to be able to adjust my text as needed.

But I've never used the em unit and I'm concerned that the flow around my graphics might get thrown off at different resolutions.

So I'd be real grateful if anyone could take a quick look:

Lower blood pressure naturally

Near the top of the page are two testimonial graphics with round backgrounds. There are more down the page if you care to look further.

1. Does the text flow smoothly around these items?

2. Is the default font size (1em) too big? (I want to accommodate older visitors but at the same time I don't want it to look childish!)

Many thanks for any feedback!

I think the fonts look fine on first glance.

Just a quick question... the circles with the testimonials- is the circles supposed to be smaller than the actual text inside of it?

I think the size and font looks fine, but the circles throw me off a bit. Not sure why. I don't know if it is supposed to be that way.

I like the professional look of the site, but think it is really long no offense. Most people have short attention spans. If it was me I would keep the copy short and rather focus on informative articles to promote the site.

It almost feels like the best part which is the second half of your site is too far down. Most people will click the back button once they realise there isn't a quick solution near the top. I know for a fact that older people dislike reading a lot of text. I can count how many times I have written some paragraphs that were work related and the people in management just said, 'give it to us shorter as we don't have time to read it all.'

Oh, another thing I wanted to mention. I like the calming blue colours, but where all three products are displayed next to each other, it really feels out of sorts with each other. When you are looking at branding yourself it is easier to focus on some design elements that fit together. Especially a lot of different pictures will throw the person off. Well I don't like it.

I have always liked something that has a consistent feel to it. Whether it is a same colours, fonts and message, or the same pictures and logos.

Edit- I am not saying you can't use three different pictures. Just it has to be displayed creatively I think. You have 4 breathe easy pictures. Maybe some space in between them or something different I would imagine.

I would agree that the copy is quite long. I know I would never sit and read through all of that .. but that's just me. Try breaking them up or something or organize them in a different way.

The round circles are a nice touch..isn't too distracting or anything. The front size is cool too. Try using a different font or just italicize the quotes to separate them from the rest of the copy.

      Good luck!

Font size looks fine. I have to agree with Sarah on the testimonial circles. The text extending beyond the circle takes away from the clean look you've established. Have you thought about using rounded rectangles instead? You can make them grow along with the length of the actual text with CSS. Otherwise, nice site.

I think the text size looks fine. 1em translates to 12pt, 16px font size on most browsers, just to give a quantifiable reference. BUT...and this is important, ems cascade so that rule is only accurate on a top-level element. So, if you have your default body font size set to, say, 1.2 em (19px), and you set your h1 inside your body tag to 2em, the h1 will actually be 2x1.2, or 2.4 ems of the default font size, or 38px.

Another thing I like to do, and this is just habit and by no means do you have to do it, is I set my default font-size to 62.5%, which effectively sets the default text to 10px. The only reason I do this is so that from then on out, when I use ems, each unit is divisible by 10 (1em=10px, 1.3em=13px, etc). Doesn't really matter whether you want to do this or not, it's just a force of habit for me so I do it.

As far as the testimonial circles go, I like the one about a quarter of the way down the page, the green/brownish looking one. The size and quantity of text fits well, and looks nice, imho. The smaller text and more/less text in some of the others seems a bit off, and the one with the smaller/tighter text is distracting and not-so-pleasent. I also like the blockquote style testemonial(s).

    Overall, not to shabby.

I also agree that it looks nice. And not to get into a huge discussion on long copy vs. short...I would suggest testing it both ways since that is really the only way to know what works with this product to this audience at this time.

It looks Nice font size is okay..Another thing which i noticed is height or header image is too large, few changes in the header will make your site more better!
    Hope this helps!

IMHO i think you should segment that massive chunk of text with subheadings also good for keywords!

Nice site, I think you should remove the left sidebar of the site, as it's almost blanked and contains no content or logo.
