Hi,

I hope one of you can help me.

I have recently uploaded a new website. The homepage is the sales page to a new product that I am going to launch.

Problem: It doesn't load on Internet explorer. It works fine on Firefox, but when I try and load it with IE it gives a download a file page.

Why is this?

I hope someone can tell me why this is so. Problem with the code?

Rename the file "index.html" and it should be just fine.

    Why

You are sending your page as "Content-Type: application/xhtml+xml" which may actually be completely meaningless to a lot of people.

Your file is named "index.xhtml" - and I bet your web server is set to send files ending in "xhtml" as a content type Internet Explorer does not understand. One might think that your meta tag (meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8") at the top of your page would fix it, but alas, Internet Explorer pretty much sticks with first impressions. There are much longer and more technically correct explanations . . .
