Hello there, im looking for some help please

I have a website that im selling a product from, and I have an affiliate that wants to promote the product but they want me to create a mirror page of the site for them, so they can use that in there promotions, could someone explain step by step to me or point in the direction of a tutorial, Kind Regards, Mick

    Hi Mick. First of all, this is simply my opinion, based on the way I translate what you wrote.

    Do not give them a mirror copy of your site. Especially the ability to purchase product.

    An affiliate should be driving traffic to either YOUR sales page, or their own pre-sales page which then forwards the prospect to YOUR sales page. What the pre-sales page does is just what it suggests; it makes people interested enough in your product to want more information, so they click thru to your page.

    If your affiliate isn't capable of doing a good pre-sell job, it might make sense for you to create a page for them. Just keep in mind that its ONLY purpose is to drive traffic to YOUR site. Keep the terms & concepts in alignment with your sales page, but try not to give all of the same info.

    Take a look thru ClickBank's products & you should find examples where vendors have created pages for affiliates to use. Model one of them.

    I'm wondering if your affiliate isn't trying to capture visitor info before sending them to you.

      Thanks for that reply, but its nothing like that, its a guru who is willing to promote my product to his list, so he prefers a mirror page so he can track sales, if thats what he wants, thats what i,ll give him, thanks, Mick.
