Depends on what theme you are using. Find a theme that allows for customizable headers. Or you can right click on the existing header and find out what folder it's hosted on and then name your new header the same as the existing one and upload it. Works pretty simple when you do it that way.

You may need to look at your source code to find the full url of the current header graphic. In Firefox go to View>Page Source, in IE go to Page>View Source while viewing any page on your site.

Look for a div id that equals "header" and inside that look for some code that starts with <img src="http://........">. The address between the quote marks is what you need - simply name your new header with the same file name and upload it to that URL.

As a tip to ensure you have the correct img src, copy the url, paste it into your browser and hit enter. If your current header comes up you've got the correct img src.

    cheers,

    Martin.

I believe you should go to the dashboard... select theme... and then select editor.. look at header php. You'll find the banner code there... then replace it

Hey just right click your banner and copy link location, you can then right click and save as, open that image up, edit it or redo it and replace the FTP file at the location you saw when you copied link location, always works for me! :-)
