Refer a friend form templates?

Hello,

I am trying to put a form on a page where someone (in this particular case, a subscriber of my list) can refer a friend

Essentially, the person enters the friends' name and email and the friend receives an email from the subscriber (NOT me, but HIS friend. Makes it much more effective, of course) saying something along the lines of...

"Your friend XYZ thought you may like this website/content/etc, please check it out here: LINK"

Question: can anyone recommend the best (and most effective) templates for such forms?

Many thanks!

    I've used a version of this simple refer-a-friend script from cgiscripts.net on several sites with great success. They used to have a free version, don't see it there anymore.

    I do cannot pm currently but I will answer you question here. An affiliate program is like refer a friend but you can offer people money to do so if you want. And a bunch of other features

    Hey ak2000,

    Great question by the way. I have 2 solutions for you to consider...

    1. Wibiya (free) - I installed this on my friends website and it is super easy to install. It mimics the facebook toolbar that tracks the bottom of each facebook page. And just like on facebook you can have it appear on all your pages.

    2. Traffic Zombie (not free) - I use this on a few of my niche websites and wish it wasn't illegal to marry a widget because I love it. This will allow your user to post your page to facebook, twitter, email, blog, etc... and you can offer them a gift (video, pdf, audio, etc...) for sharing your site. It gives your visitors an incentive for sharing - not a bad concept.

    My friends website (example) = webstersongs.com (still being developed)

    Wibiya = wibiya.com

    Traffic Zombie = see my signature below
