WEB DESIGN

Hey guys,

I've been a full-time web designer for about a year now and am getting into Affiliate marketing ( which is why i joined the Warrior forum ).
I recently launched my first website in the dating guide niche for men.
It's not going too well ( 1 sale in 2 weeks ) but I have about 30 people in my list so that's something I guess.
Any tips?
I'm thinking of selling this website honestly cause I'm just not motivated enough to compete in this niche.
How much do you guys think this website could go for?
I have a facebook group for it with over 700 active users and submitted 6 articles to 20 different article marketing sites (unique content).

Depends on what the site's revenue currently is and the number of visitors.

One thing I did notice was that the modal signup box appears after a while on every page, but there isn't actually a way to close it. I'd imagine this would annoy most site visitors who would simply leave, as they can't see the content / access anything behind it.

That was an error in the template, fixed it.
Site hasn't gotten lots of visitors, about 40 unique per day

One thing you might want to consider are your adverts.

Most of what you currently have are information based (how to pick up girls, advanced seduction etc).

I think you could tweak these to include pay-per-signup adverts to popular dating sites, especially in your online dating section where serving these ads would be relevant (site visitor reads article(s) about online dating tips, then wants to immediately implement them on a site that you recommend).

I've had relative success with this, especially with the sites that pay per free signup (anything between $2 - $4 per signup), plus 40 - 50% revenue share if they then go on to become a paid member.

If you only convert 1 out of 40 visitors a day into a free member on one of these sites, you'd be looking at $60 - $120 a month. It doesn't sound like a lot, but it's a start, and then you'll have some revenue figures to be able to base a sale valuation on.
