Joomla, custom modules and typography...??

Hi,

I am relatively new to joomla. Recently I started to change my site's look and decided to apply a gridded template called Quasar to it made by rocketheme.com.

It is a really cool theme, but when it comes to those nice paragraphs I get lost. My first idea, to achieve this was to create "Custom HTML" modules select the proper position from the "Position drop down" and write my content there. It is working well this way, but I do not know, maybe there is another, "standard" way to do this via the article manager, provided by the theme's creators.

Could someone help me to understand this??

Regards!

    HI,

I am a Joomla! expert and can help.

You are doing it the correct way if you are using modules to put text in the different module positions.

Using an article and then making that article the homepage of the site will make the article show in the "component" area which is typically in the center of the template.

    I hope this helps.
