WEB DESIGN

Hi,

On my wordpress site, half the mainpage is dominated by sidebar and then the left side is taken up by a feature post section and last post section.

I want a single article (not excerpt which is currently being shown) on the front page with the right sidebar made narrower.

Any ideas on how I can do this?

By the way, you can see my site from my sig.

Does anyone know what theme this wordpress site is using? best-spyware-removal-tools.com

I'd love to use the same idea with the table before the fold.

That site is using this theme: Blogging Pro WordPress Theme – Design Disease – Blog Design
It looks as though they customized the header to include that chart above the fold.

As to your first queries, in order to change the content/sidebar sizes, you'll have to dig around in the style.css file for your theme. As for displaying the entire post rather than the excerpt, open up the index.php file, find the_excerpt() and replace it with the_content() within the loop.
