Help and Advice Needed for Membership Site.
I know I am eventually going to have to outsource this task but in the meantime I need some help in which direction to look.
I have a client that wants to intergrate a membership area into their site but a membership site with a difference.
The concept is that each member has a page on the site that is private, not indexed and only available to them.This page is to act as a personal journal which they can update as and when they wish.So it is essential that this page is private.
To register must be very easy ie.submit email address and username then an email with login page,username and password sent back to them.
We must be able to let members know about updates,special offers etc either when they log in or by email.
We can install wordpress on the site if that makes it easier.
I am totally lost with this, I need to know how long it will take to do this and some idea of price.
