I know your website is built-on Wordpress, but try to make it look less like a blog. I automatically thought you were trying to sell info on SEO in form of an eBook, not a service.

Try to make your website more unique and break the Wordpress mould.

I have to agree. Color scheme is ok. Although blue and black are mainly used in health and fitness niches(dunno why but it works better)

But it does look like a blog.

1-Mission statement at the top in the blue box is sound but could be a little more captivating

2-I know you want to promote affiliate products but your right hand sidebar is too, dare I say bloggish?

3-Your opt-in form needs to be at the top right corner, where people will more likely see it.

4-Your about SC Online Marketing page is to garbled together at the top where the mission statement begins.

5-There aren't any pricing options or descriptions of your services.

6-Lot's of blank space, for a business site I would recommend a wider layout, not the standard straight down the middle of the page blog style layout.

All in all if your serious about this business and you are having trouble with site design, find a popular SEO Services site, and have a site designed after it, don't copy it but make it similar. You will probably have to outsource it, but it does take money to make money(in most cases)

It's a good start and you've come to the right place for thoughts and idea's

Id have to suggest finding a better, more business/corporate looking theme. There are tons of amazing free ones and a nice list was posted here on WF recently.

I also agree with Ryan and Steve above that you should make it less like a blog and
more like an authority site. The colors are ok.

Here are my .02cents.

1) your h1 and h2 on your index page has margin and or padding resets (meaning no extra space around the words.)
2) your right column has absolutely no padding in the div.
3) there is really no difference between the h1 and h2 in size
4) your title TO your index page says home.
5) the title OF your index page is spammy ( period )

char count in a title is supposed to be around 75
6) .html on pages as a plugin not fully utilized
7) your bg img does not go all the way across my monitor (22inch widescreen 1600x1200)
8) i do not see analytics set up on your site
9) the body content on your 4 tips blog post reads as though it were spun.
10) the link at the bottom of the same post is a link to a company that buys links. while people do buy links, is this the best tip for seo you can give? :confused:
11) you do not have an .htaccess file set up or a 301

I think it needs a more professional feel as well. I prefer simple sites especially when dealing with business matters. It doesn't matter if it looks simple as long as it is clean and easy for the visitor to read and find what she or he is looking for.

Being you are a SEO consultant maybe you will want to use your own expertise to better optimize your site as well. Some valid points have been made by a few on here.

With all this great advice you'll do well. As for SEO it can cost a fortune to compete for the most valuable keywords. Useing a phrase is easier to list your site higher organically in the search engines.

I think you need to work on the design of your site, why it looks badly.Posts with title split.
Look at other sites and make similar only in their maner.That think to get something.
