How to transfer a Wordpress site from one host to another

So, I am selling a Wordpress site and need to transfer it from one host to another. Is this easy to do and how? I am getting a lot of different info and just wondered what tech minded guys might think, here.

I will transfer both the domain and the host to him. But the part I'm most concerned about is the hosting change and all the content.

    Take it straight from the horse's mouth when it comes to wordpress. Otherwise, things will end up far more complicated than they have to be.

    Thanks but I also have heard that if you move from cpanel to cpanel it's incredibly easy, even easier than the Wordpress instructions you are linking to, here.

    Anyone know about that?

    I also face the same problem.I know how to transfer all the wordpress posts,pages and Content by doing as is said in that above link.But I have a question.Ie if I am using a WP theme with thumbnails and other plugin settings.Is it possible for me to transfer all the Content and have all the thumbnail pictures displayed in the home page of the Site which's moved to the new location?
