HTML Mac Editor? Squeeze page help!

Hi,
I have a squeeze page that I want to use on a WP site - I'm new to WP so please bare with me...

It is my understanding that squeeze pages, thank you pages etc need to be in HTML on WP?

Assuming that is correct - now that I have these HTML files, how do I edit them on Mac?

I don't have Adobe - I tried TextEdit but I couldn't save as an HTML document and it was really limited...

Sorry I'm a little lost..

    If it's not an actual wordpress theme, you will not be able to use it. You would have to ad it in yourself (custom) which involves html/css knowledge at the least.

    They do not NEED to be in wordpress, it's if you choose to use wordpress. I would always recommend not using wordpress for a simple landing page as I find it a heavy system for such a light task.

    You'll need a domain and hosting, link the domain to your hosting, and if you have a template .html file you could upload that to your root directory and it would show up online, assuming the file was named index.html

    I already have a WP site that I want a squeeze page to.. and I think the only way to add pages to WP (without them showing in the Main Site) is to add HTML pages??

    wordpress is developed in PHP. if your customizing wordpress, you need knowledge about css, php and wp engine.

    wopress is ultimate for seo and designing prat. just follow some documents for knowledge.You can make power full dynamic website with user friendly.

    dont go for other cms. wordpress is better and best cms.

    I need a squeeze page on my existing WP site - that is not connected to the BLOG

      If you don't want it to show up at the actual .com... like domain.com(that would be wordpress)

      You can just upload the template to the root folder (where wordpress is)

      then it would be:

      Domain.com/my-html-laning-page.html

      so whatever you name the file, as long as it's in the root directory (the www or public_html folder) it would be:
      domain.com/name-of-file.html

      If you want it in a sub folder... you can create a folder and put it in there:

      domain.com/awesome-product/name-of-file.html

    Hi, now there are a lot of good free editors, if your into code, but if your a little more used to UI, then there is NVU

    You can create a template, but you need to edit the header of that template otherwise WP will not "see" the new template file, let us know how it works out.
