Font Size Problems in Browsers?

Hey Guys,

Can somebody please help me here?

I have just created a squeeze page using 'microsoft expression web 3', now I actually got the SP to look exactly how I wanted it, and when I tested how it would look on firefox and IE via the editor, it still looked great so I uploaded it to my webspace!

When I came to view it live online, as I thought, yeah its the biz!

Now before I go any further, the editor is installed on my laptop which as you will know has a 'widescreen'?

Now I can continue, I went on my 'desktop' computer, went to view it online there, but found that the font size in IE was far too big knocking all the format out of sync!

I then realised that the page will look ok on widescreen, but my desktop monitor is 15" sq, and I`m wondering if that makes it appear out of sync!

So my question is, is can anyone explain exactly what I need to do to format any webpage in microsoft expression web 3, so that the layout and font looks exactly the same size and format in any browser, both laptop and desktop monitor?

My efforts make it look to small in firefox and far to big in IE!

If possible can anyone show me step by step via a video, or point me to one somewhere on the net?

Thanks....John.

      Its Newbies Auction Profits..

I have since found that my font size setting in IE was to high throwing the headline out of sync within the template, however in firefox which is my default browser shows it a little to small in the headline, but I still want to want to know if there is a way to exactly get the same format, fixed to show in all browsers, using microsoft expression web 3?

      Thanks....John.

the problem is that the first paragraph of your title is tagged <h1> the second paragraph is tagged <h2> and the third is has a <p> tag. 2 ways to fix it is to declare the same font size in each individual css declaration for each of those tags.

However, that will make the font big in all your <p> tags. So, the best solution is to wrap all three paragraphs in a <h1> tag and give it a font-size of about 20px to 23px.

    I hope this helps.

Do you use separate CSS coding for IE and global CSS.

John, I've checked it in firefox and IE8 and it looks fine to me. Are you sure there's still a problem?
