WEB DESIGN

i want to design a logo, banner, ecover and header On my blogs.
i dont have much budget to hire a freelance designer to do the job.

just need to do it myself. my question is What is the best software i can use to design these...and any quality one out there for free download?

If you have little or no funds, leave the logo for later. In the meantime, you can create your own headers and banners using this free software:

Don't know for free but the cheapest I know is $49 minisite and eBook cover design service | very cheap design service | www.coverscorp.com hope this helps
another one who is not so expensive is Crystal Pro Covers - Professional eCover and Minisite design

  The most powerful free software for graphics that I know of is Gimp. Is like open source Photoshop. Give it a try, it can be a bit complex if you aren't a designer, but it has extensive documentation.

  Download GIMP (FREE) and use Google to find tutorials for it.
  
  Alternatively, try Paint.NET which is also free.
