I have a site where the main content of the home page is not optimized as well as I wish, but the menu of clickable links on the side of the home page, for the titles of the books I sell, are all optimized well, with each link being a long tail keyword. Do the search engines see these as part of the page for seo reasons. Also can I use these long tail keywords in ppc campaigns with any success, since I have been told to always use the same keywords in the campaign, that are used on the landing page. I would most likely direct any ppc to the home page. Thanks Glenn |

Hi David, Thanks for the info. I guess sending everyone to the home page would not be too smart. This is my first try at ppc, and I was reading more last night, and realized I should make the sales pages for my products the landing pages. I sell pdf books that I write or own resale rights to for $7.00 and I do ok with it, but I am not sure if it is workable with ppc because of the low price of the books. I figured I would try it for a few days or a week and see if I can increase my sales. If nothing else I should get some signups to my list. I am searching for some of the low cost ppc engines. Any suggestions. Thanks Glenn |
