Trying to work with a Wordpress site

On my pages, I want to re-arrange their order. Can someone tell me how to do this? My About page has ended up being listed before my static page in the list and it just looks unprofessional. I tried to find a way to do it within the list of pages, but have had no luck. Am I overlooking something very simple?

    When you edit your pages... under the page attributes box on the right hand side, there is a field labeled "order". That is how you change the display order of your pages.

    - Mangage -> Pages
    - Select edit, to edit each page in turn.
    - There is a blue page order selection bar on the right side of the edit Pages page.
    - Select the (+) to expand.
    - Note that by default each page order value is set to 0, so the pages display in alpha order by default.
    - Set this value (ie, 1, 2, 3, etc) on each page to order the pages other than by alpha.

    Just grab the plugin called "pagemash". It does exactly what you want quickly and without all the hassle of going through each page one by one.
