I created a website on fireworks ok. So now I exported it to dreamweaver so i can add my content. But I have no idea how to add more pages for the "about me" and "updates" buttons on my site. Can some pleaseeeeee help I been stuck on this for a couple of days now. how do i add more pages?

    If this is your first time creating a website make sure you test your layout in every browser. Because regardless of what you see in you WYSIWYG editor I can guarantee you it'll be different in all of them.

    Also, if you've got access to another computer test it on there too. If you don't have your coloration settings in Fireworks, Photoshop, etc. set up properly there will be coloration issues. Particularly when you're trying to match the background color of an image to the background color of a page. I gotta toss that out there cause you might wind up having conversion rate issues, yet without knowing that you wouldn't know it could be because of improperly save images borking your page.

      Hello,
      Search in google you find video tutorial for dreamweaver. or other option to add pages in your site,

      File Menu - New - HTML page - post your all contain in it.
      then after link proper to that page.
      this way you can create more pages.

      ABSOLUTELY DITTO THIS! There should be a law forcing checking across browsers!

      A typical browser issue can be that everything looks absolutely perfect in IE but when you view in Firefox you can't see anything on your webpage unless you scroll down - huge white gaps in content!

      Website visitors will not contact you via your website to tell you that there is a problem, they will just think, "this is odd/bad/ridiculous", and then leave your website.

      So although it may be tedious, test across browsers.

    If you want to add more page to your site, you must to create them.
    The easiest way is that your first page you've already created and saved as index.html (this is the first page - index.html), save as aboutus.htm, and update.htm...

    And that's it. Now you have 3 identical pages with diferent name...

    Guys guys I'm not a total rookie at this. OF COURSE I'm testing it in different browsers! And I have watched dozen of training course's online, but I cant seem to find one that explains. How to create a website on fireworks and export to dreamweaver. Then add more pages and content and upload to the internet! All I find are videos that half ass what to do.

    You need to hunt out how to create a site in Dreamweaver - DW will create the file type - then import your content into the Dreamweaver site> then you can upload through Dreamweaver's ftp.
