desperatley require a bit of help

Hey Team,

Im in need of a little technical help, im having trouble altering a word press theme header.

Ive basically got a new review theme that i want to use, One of the tasks which i have to do is change the header, ive created a new header but i dont know how to upload it.

i think im missing something, i cant find the website in file zilla & dont know if the header can be changed in the wordpress theme dashboard?

I know it is probably something silly BUT if you could point me in the right direction i would really appreciate it

    The header should be with the theme under \wp-content\themes\your theme*

    * being the name of the theme you are using

      Hey Guys,

      Its a problem with file zilla, im getting a critical error, then a could not connect to server error, im not sure about the log in typr username and password, where are they? what do i use?

        The log-in type should be "FTP" and you'll use the FTP username and password for your web hosting account. (Note: It may be "SFTP" depending on your host, and how they have you connect...) If you don't know what that information is, you might want to contact your webhost and have them help you out.

        Once you get that sorted, it should give you the ability to log in and upload the files to the relevant places in your site.

          You can do it in wordpress if you are having trouble with ftp.
          Select Appearance, then Editor at the bottom of the list that apears when you click on Appearance.
          Then on the right you will see all of your pages. Click on Header. That will open your Header.php file in the editor in the centre of the screen.
          If you click in the editor and click ctrl a all of the text will be selected. Click del and it will be deleted.
          Now open your new header in your text editor, notepad will do. Do ctrl a to select it all, then ctrl c to copy it all, then click in the wp editor and click ctrl v to paste it in. Now save the updated file and your new header should appear.
