how can i remove the footer link "Amazon wordpress plugin" at the bottom of the website Mobile Spy Software

    First, you would need to verify the terms of use of that plugin as some plugin requires the inclusion of their link in the footer. If not, you can try that: (AT YOUR OWN RISK)

    - Login to your WP admin panel (http://domain.com/wp-admin)
    - Click on Appearance -> Editor
    - Choose Footer on the right
    - Copy - Paste the content somewhere safe on your desktop
    - Look for (or similar) <p>Get smart with the <a href="something">Amazon wordpress plugin</a> from DIYthemes.</a></p>
    - Remove that line
    - Save

    If you blow up your WP setup, revert to the saved copy you have and IM me

    well, basically, open footer.php

    search for 'Amazon wordpress plugin' and delete

    <p>Get smart with the <a href="http://www.wordpressconnect.net/amazon-wordpress-plugin/">Amazon wordpress plugin</a> from DIYthemes.</p>

    unless it's not allowed by your theme's Terms
    unless it's encrypted

    The footer text is being inserted by the plugin. You won't find it in any of the theme files.

    @pwhite @spesialis the theme name is 'thesis 1.7' ... there isn't any footer.php in the wordprees files

    @SteveJohnson i think you understood my problem well... the footer link is being inserted remotely, its not saved on my blog... please tell me how can i remove that link...i had purchased that theme from a guy on DP but he didn't tell me how to remove that link...
