What are H1 Tags? H2, etc? Are they necessary? Just launched my site

I dont know if im allowed to post links here, my site though is (consolidate DASH debt DOT org). Im on page 1 for yahoo, but im MIA on google. I feel my meta was nice, but what are H1 tags? Are there any other tags im missing? Thanks for those expierenced willing to help those with less expierence (me). :--)

    Those are header tags and are very important as it tells the bots how important the content inside them is.

    They are meant for Heading or Titles of paragraphs, sections or pages.
    There are h1 - h6 and are rated in that order h1 being the highest priority.
