Hey guys,

I am an aspiring internet marketer & have been learning how to monetize Wordpress sites for the last 14 months following guys like Ed Dale & the Challenge Crew, Sean Rasmussen, Shaun Stenning, etc.

With one of my of micro-niche sites that I have been playing around with, I have recently switched between 2 themes & have noticed that theme#2 results in my Google site ranking positions 1 for homepage & 2 for a secondary post page. Theme #1 ranks position 1 only, for the homepage. The conversion rate is far higher with theme #1 so I have chosen to stick with that one for now. I would really like figure out how to get the best from both & combine them.

Are there any easy ways to learn or do this without spending a lot of money?

I'm guessing you've done everything you can to optimise WordPress itself, rather than your theme but, in case not, the first section of plugins in this article are all SEO related:

Wordpress Plugins: A Recommended List | Create an Awesome Home Business

You may want to take a look through those and see if any would help.

Other than that, if you want optimise your theme you'd need to get into its guts to review and tidy up any sloppy code.

The better Premium themes enable you to handle the SEO factors without the need for plugins, but if your preferred theme is getting you good conversions, and you want to stick with it, then I'd take the plugin route for SEO.

    Cheers,

    Martin.
