Hello Everyone,

I am trying to upload a theme to wordpress and I have successfully connected to my host (Bluehost) using Filezilla. However, on the right side of the screen where it says "Remote Site:" it is empty except for the backslash symbol "/". I tried typing in /public_html in this field to access this directory but it says
Response: 550 Can't change directory to /public_html: No such file or directory
Error: Failed to retrieve directory listing
Does anyone know what I should type in the "Remote Site:" field so I can view the directories on my website? Thanks.

Right-click on the pane above "remote site" and select "enter custom command". Then type pwd into the text box and press enter. The upper pane should scoll up, and display a line starting with "257". That will show you what your current location is.

Also be sure you have the very latest version (3.3.5 at time of posting.) Old versions have been known to do that.

Thanks CrhisD! I ended up contacting bluehost and they helped me resolve the issue. It had to do with my host name.
