You use pages and not posts then.

You can make your homepage a page also instead of posts, depends what you are trying to do, when i make static sites(non-blog) styled sites, i only use pages.

Pages look like normal HTML pages, no comments, dates, author and so on.

You can create pages in the back end PAGES section.

    Hmmm...

If you have the latest wordpress you can use Custom Navigation Menu (and turn that post to part of the page on the menu.. yet it will still be a post on your blog).. googled it and saw this lisajhoang(dot)com/wordpress-custom-navigatgion-menu/

You can give this a read, I just googled it and quickly read, it gave some alternatives such as using a specific theme to do this.. but I personally haven't done this so I can't vouch on it.. wpbtips.wordpress(dot)com/2010/06/30/posts-on-pages/

    the power of google. yay!

you can also use categories.. but I'm pretty definite that it seems your case is not the use of categories.. I assume you really want custom nav menu. hopefully other WF warriors have a better answer or an alternative.
