Got this website all set up after a long, hard struggle, especially with the ^$$@&&^% autoresponder thing. Care to take a look and offer some suggestions, please, or identify any problems you find in it? Thanks!

    Your website looks good.
    But..
On the top I see a white space of about 50 pixel height.
The second think I noticed is that the texture of the background is a bit out of topic. Maybe a gradient would be nice. The iron texture that you used is a bit of 90's.
Good luck with your web site.

That's strange; I never placed any such space there...

As for the iron textures, I was intending to confer that feeling of strength and hardness, qualities of iron as well as of muscle. Well, maybe I should use a rock texture instead?...

Website design is cool, but I think its taking much time to load. I dont know whether the problem is from my end or on the website. Just check it out.

Maybe I'll try loading it from some other systems just to see how it goes. Could be all the image files, which I understand take some time to load.

Perhaps at the top of each page I could place an alert saying: these pages contain a substantial amount of visual content and therefore might take a while to load.

looks great but maybe you could put the menus horizontally above so the whole design is balnce.. Just my thoughts..

      Thanks for the feedback, friends.

You reckon a horizontal menu would be better?

Not bad. But font size menu very small.

It seems strangely difficult to control the font size. Just the day before I went to look at my website using my sister's system, and the font size looked strangely LARGE, even though her system used the same screen resolution as mine! (Maybe the different OS explains the discrepancy: her system uses Windows 7, mine XP.) I quickly went home and re-did my webpages before re-publishing them, shrinking all the font sizes down one notch. Now you're saying the font sizes are too small.

this is where CSS is important. You will never be able to control the exact look on disparate systems, using a default, tested css standard will help.

Using proper CSS and defining default fonts for your divs and spans will help alot.

Thanks, fellas. Looks like I should seriously consider changing to a horizontal menu at the top of the page.

By the way... What is CSS?

          Cascading Style Sheets

The idea is you separate your content from your style. Instead of wrapping things in <center> tags and such, you can use <div style="text-align:center;">

it's really nice for modifying tables and links and such, and makes it easier to port that style sheet over to new websites later.

Not bad. I would put your menu along the top below your header and maybe think about changing to a bigger font size.

Looks good, nice graphics. Only suggestion is to increase the width of your menu bar and the font size.

To valleytech: Thank you. I'll definitely be doing something to the menu bar!

Maybe I'll get one of those menus that can hide and slide out only as you move your cursor near some tab. Seen those before. Wonder where I can find one of those for putting in my webpages...

      To hellunter:

      Any improvements to suggest?
