I'm trying to find a plug-in in Wordpress that allows me (as the author, not the end-user) to select a different theme/template for every page (and/or post). Does anyone know if this exists?

I have searched it before 6 mothns. I found nothing. But I can't believe it can't be done!
If you find a solution, please post it here in order to see the solution.
Nothing is impossible. I believe it needs some programming skill, in order to use different themes.

You can specify different templates per page, providing that your present theme is set up with extra templates.

You can't switch themes on a per page or per post basis. You'll have to build the different looks into the theme that you're using.

Thanks Steve, that's great to know! Can you be a little bit more specific as it does not seem to be out of the box (at least I don't see it anywhere).

I just found one (called page-theme; see the WP plug-in directory), but unfortunately it does not work for me (I least not on the blog I want it for). Whenever I select a different theme in my page/post and press 'set theme' it goes automatically back to the default one.

Sorry, I'm not familiar with that plugin. It appears that it is what you are looking for - except that it doesn't work

The author says it's compatible up to WP 3.0.0, I don't know offhand of any reason it shouldn't work with 3.0.1.

If there are other templates available in your present theme, they'll show up in a dropdown box on the right side of the page edit screen (not posts).
