How to place a video on my website (html and wordpress) and password protect the page?

Can anyone tell me how to place a video on my website (html) and password protect the page? I am making a video for someone that I only want them to be able to see.

Can you also tell me how to do it on a wordpress site? I imagine that is as easy as a couple plug-ins, maybe?

    The Wordpress bit is easy. there are loads of plugins that will do this. Just go to plug ins and click on add new and do a search for video players.
    I use Flash Video player on a wordpress blog and it works a treat here is the link

    Harrydog, I figured wordpress might be much simpler with plugins. I'll be doing that after I figure this out for my HTML site first. I do hope someone will be able to point me in some direction for that :$
