Does anyone know where I can get some high quality niche style images for creating top headers.

I looking at getting images related to some local niches like, plumbing, hair salons, bars, computers, video stores, automotive etc.

Thanks
Mitch

I use bigstockphoto.com for custom headers.. .pop them into photoshop or gimp and place some text based on my niche
plus bigstockphoto.com the images there for web are high quality and cheap. like 1 - 2 $

How is the pricing? I used to use Istockphoto but they are fairly expensive for a single photo/image.

        Hello Nelson,

You might also consider public domain photos. There are several sites online, that have all kinds of photos in the public domain. Google public domain stock photos.

I would google stock images. But if when you say generic you are meaning you want to use them in templates that you will sell in mass quanity you have to purchase a different type of usage license.

When you purchase an image off of any of the royalty free images sites, you are restricted on what you can do with the images. You just need to read the licensing rules on the site and make sure your operating within bounds of their terms.

Maybe generic isn't the proper word. I just want standard photos that show the niche in great detail.

So getting a high quality photo/image of a plumber doing work would work or a hair stylist doing some doos would work.

I want to take them and create a niche website to then use in my niche design plan...
