A landing/sales page on wordpress?

I have many articles up on my blog, but I wish I could make the first page a landing page, and have different type font sizes in there etc. Is this possible?

    You can make the fron page a static page or you can buy a plug in which can make your front page a sales page.

    ex: creationspire.com they sell a plugin or theme version of a sales page.

    or try wpsqueezepage.com..

    you might want to check out Flexibility 3 Theme it's a good free theme that does what you want to do. I used the Flexibility Theme before I decided to up grade to the Flexsqueeze Theme. You can find it at Flexibility Theme for WordPress

    Hi there...

    You can make your landing page a "Sticky post" therefore it will be the first thing your visitors will see regardless of other posts and when they were posted.

    Create a Page (not post) that is your landing page (whatever that means in your terms).

    Have another - empty! - Page created, too; e.g. name it "blog". Do not add any content to it.

    Go to wp-admin > Settings > Reading and select the option to show a 'static page' as your frontpage. Then select your 'landing page for it.
    Make the empty (blog?) Page as your 'posts page'.

    Done.
