Warrior Kindly help, when uploading files where do i put the files in the FTP?

Warriors Kindly assist me with this, :confused:

I had been trying to upload a site for some days now but had not work out.
Please when uploading files to the server as in website using FTP, where do i put the files for it to show on the net, is it the PUBLIC DOC, PUBLIC_HTML, WWW, OR WHERE ...?

Please i really appreciate your assistance.

I use ZILEZILLA, which a drag and drop, where do i drop it for it to overwrite wha i have there before and place the new?

The site i am working on is Untitled Document.

    Your public_html and www folders point to the same place, your root web directory. Anything placed in these folders will be viewable on the internet. This is of course, assuming your domain/nameservers etc are setup correctly.

    go to public html and your domain should automatically show there. If it doesnt contact your hosting company.

    Once you see the domain you wish the files to be transferred to then just drag and drop. If you want a file to be your home page name it 'index' it should automatically show as your homepage.

    However if you name the file as 'sim4' (for talking sake) then your domain will be www.example.com/sim4

    any questions just reply, hope you get it sorted.
