Your website and your motivation

Some people start websites without properly planning for them. As a result, they end up with alot of failed attempts. They loose interest within the first month or in some cases the first week of starting out.

I believe for your website to be a true success (get a decent amount of traffic) you have to be dedicated to seeing it through to the end. Besides properly planning, creating and promoting that website you have to be motivated.

Motivation goes a long way. Whether you're motivated by the fact that at some point you will be earning some decent cash or that you will be helping someone else this is what keeps you going.

With this in mind, what's your motivation ? What motivates you to create your website and has your motivation allowed you to reap success ? Share your views with me.

I also believe that if you fail to plan then you plan to fail. Thank you for the post.

Planing and more planing, best advise by far. The amount of sites i started on a unplanned process - well put it this way they are just wasting away as we speak

I use that quote a lot, its in my office as well as "What is not started today, is never finished tomorrow."

All my successful sites have one thing in common, something I'm passionate about. In which case, its entertainment, aka movies, games etc.
