How can I make a wp template to use over again?

I am working with the atahualpa theme and also outsourcing a site design using this theme, and I would like to know after I get it customized the way I want it to look, how can I use it as a template to use again on other sites I make without having to spend forever customizing it again and just change some of the content?

    Not to appear a bit "heavy" but I think you know the answer, and of course it's yes...

    But exactly... do you want to create a master layout and just giving few informations, for example using a XML config-file, becoming a totally different one? Let's say a master/template or master layout... right?

      I would like to have a master layout/ template where all I have to change would be the header, content, and pictures. I want the look of the site to stay the same (color, static page, header, menu bar design, etc..) so I don't have to customize it again and again. I know nothing about xml config-file.

    This may be a little off base in this thread, but i thought you guys might know a good WP designer to recommend. Cause I cant really create the professional theme that I would like. But I also want a master template like you guys are talking about
