A good professional Ebook Cover Creator?

Hello!

I am looking for a good professioanl Cover creator for ebooks, softwares, membership cards, Etc.

I have some photoshop actions But I am not happy with them. I would prefer an additional software to create the covers.

I particularly like those who create multiple Cds, Magazines, books, for selling Courses (do you know what I mean?)

I' appreciate your advice.

that is the best cover photoshop action script i know of.

Resolution of the graphics is better then the others. But it still comes down on your own creative skils

Thanks edynas, but as I told, I would like to find one it doesn't use photoshop. My photoshop is in Spanish and there are many commands that are different the actionscripts always have errors.

I thought you had issues with your ecover actions you had.

There are stand alone software available but I have no experience with them.

you should have in mind here and that's the quality. What will be the quality of your project once it's completed?
I've used coveractionpro for some time and it has never disappointed me.

I know that you mentioned that you're looking for software, but I've found it to be affordable to have a professional do it for me...

I found a gal who will do ecovers for as little as $37 and she has always turned them around within 48 hours for me. I've had her do ebooks, CD's, Software boxes, Reports, and more.

Have a look if it makes sense:

I recommend trueboxshot
fabulous program, you would just need to design the graphic yourself, the program gives the effect of the cover you want
there is also a version that has an ebox generator.

Free software is just as good, i have been playing around with gimp. This is a very powerful graphics tool if you take the time to learn it. With it i can create graphics like this...

This only took me 8 hours to learn how to do and is built from scratch no photoshop actions used in this graphic. With a little time and effort even gimp can compete with photoshop.

Chewie - when you say ecover creator do you mean a person or software?

Here's the guy I use: eCoverGrafiX.com his work is AMAZING. (A lot of other warriors use him too).

His rates start at $47.

What's wrong with using Photoshop? It's the best graphics tool to use.. and it really comes down to your imagination - not the software.

I've created many products just using Photoshop and DreamWeaver which you can see in my sig..

laughingbird, well it is ok, but rendering is kind of sketchy. you can get a trial download. as with all software you still need to actually design the cover separately,then import it .
I use my own actions on photoshopecovers.com if you want a set, let me know I will discount it to 27.00
also, i tried black belt and it wasn't all that great, one or two actions are unique, and worth adding to an arsenal if you want to spend the money for it.
CAP of course. still waiting on his new release

at www.makeebookcovers.com. it is $27 to the general public but there is a WSO for it for $9.

It uses GIMP and it steps you through it very methodically.

A newb here and want to double check something...

When I think of ebook covers, I think of the 3d looking pictures that are put on landing/sales pages. I also think of the actual cover page to the ebook itself.

Can you get both from the same source?
