Opt-in page set to main domain URL Help

Alright, so I'm trying out this system (that shall rename nameless) - which I have to say, I am NOT that impressed with. They leave a lot of questions unanswered.

For instance, we were provided with several styles of "squeeze" pages. After downloading them and configuring the code for an autoresponder, we FTP'd them into the server (mind you, I had never done anything like this before). And that was all they showed us to do. They never explained how to make the squeeze page the main URL. Right now my main URL is just an index page.

I've attempted to contact them numerous times for help. But of course, after they get your money, they pretty much pull it out, wipe it off on your t-shirt, and say "See ya!"

Anyway, can someone please help. I just need to know how to set the squeeze page as my main URL. Thanks in advance.

If you stop bitching about the product... I will help you. This is NOT the place where you can complain about a specific product and/or its creator. Read the froum Rules (which you should have done before your first post!)

In any directory the file shown by default is called index: index.html, index.htm, index.shtml or index.php...

If you want a page to show up at your domain's URL - place it in the "root" folder of your domain. Usually, the "root" is public_html or htdocs, depending on the site admin software.

If your squeeze page has another file name... just rename it to index.html and you should be fine.
